How you guys do to feel comfortable third party packages in your projects

It's rather practical and effective when you want to go fast.

You go fast but it does not run fast. What if you can choose a framework where you can do 90% of your workflow without third party dependences.??
I think it makes more sense this way than turnging the node_modules or vendor folder to a hell of deps you do not really understand.
